Event Overview
From September 12th to 14th, we celebrated the commencement of the PGDM Batch of 2022-2024 with an Inauguration and Induction Week. The event was a resounding success, marked by the vibrant energy and enthusiasm of our new students.
Distinguished Guests and Speakers
The inaugural event was honored by the presence of Mr. Himat Valia, President of VSM – Cosmopolitan Education Society, along with VSM Founding Directors Mr. Rajesh Pillai and Mr. Gaurang Bhatt, and other esteemed Trust Members of the Society.
Our guest speakers for the commencement days included Ms. Saumya Badgayan, Head of HR Strategy at Gold Star Jewellery Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Head of Customer Excellence at Aamby Valley City. Their speeches were electric, inspiring, and empowering, offering valuable insights to our new batch.
Highlights and Sessions
Inaugural Chief Speaker – Dr. Saumya Badgayan: Dr. Badgayan engaged the audience with her talk on “What Corporate Wants”, providing informative and direction-setting insights. Key learnings included the importance of adapting to corporate culture, understanding the changing nature of social media, and strategies for a winning career.
Faculty Speaker – Prof. Rubina Mohammad: On the second day, Prof. Rubina Mohammad captivated the students with her session on “Personality Development”. She shared her experiences and emphasized the critical role of soft skills in the corporate world, discussing emotional intelligence, leadership skills, problem-solving, and more.
Guest Speaker – Ms. Manpreet Kaur: Our third day was graced by Ms. Manpreet Kaur, who shared her extensive corporate experience. Her focus was on how to seize opportunities in the job market, with invaluable tips for our aspiring management students.
